It's just a USB Hub but it's well designed and the top ports are great for fast access. On top of that it looks good. I use this one with our Wii and the white color blends in nicely with all the other hardware.
Best usb hub you can have, I already have this hub using it for last 1.5 years, this is second one of the same.
If you want feedback, blinking lights, special features then relax. The bottom line is that I plug my USB cords in, everything works, has been very reliable, and I am so satisfied that I am thinking about buying another one. 5 stars and no complaints.
I got to the point of not using USB hubs.I got a new Macbook Pro laptop for work and needed a hub. I don't know what it is with USB hubs, but I've purchases several in the past (mostly for Windows computers) and they just didn't work well. The Amazon reviews on this one were good, so I took the chance.It works great. Typically something I plugged into the hub would stop working. Or the hub would conk out on me after a week or two.Very weird. Easy set-up and works with everything I've thrown at it so far. (iPhone, camera, printer, mouse, keyboard, USB jump drive, etc).I'll update this review if things change, but for right now.Highly recommended.
I've gone through 4 different hubs. Stacking was a snap. These looked good so I figured I'd try two. For the first time my workspace looks organized I needed 11 ports and this worked great. Works like a charm. Should have bought these first and save myself a lot of bucks.
